-Plan, manage and evaluate all logistics operations with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
-Set policies and processes to improve operational and financial performance.
-Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service.
-Set the logistics department objectives/KPIs and review ongoing performance.
-Negotiating with the Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, and courier for freight quotations and price lists for Export / Import shipments and recommending optimal transport modes and routes.
-Managing the whole logistics cycle including reviewing purchase orders, and letter of credit, negotiate LC conditions, review shipping documents (invoice, packing list, EUR1,…etc.) & ensure they matching purchase orders & LC conditions.
-Managing the loading process at the factory.
-Managing the status of all shipments and following up on their delivery until the final destination.
-Complying with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
-Presenting weekly/monthly reports to General Manager on the status of shipments and achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
• 10- 15 years of Experience, including 5 years at a managerial level
• Proficient in English Language is a Must
• Experience in payment terms
• Experience in delivery terms
• Computer proficiency (MS Office)
