Job Description:
The Export Sales Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the company’s international sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets. This position oversees the development and execution of global sales strategies, manages high-performing export sales teams, and fosters strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Job Description
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement the company’s global export sales strategy, including long-term revenue goals, market expansion plans, and profitability targets, to be approved by senior management.
- Identify and evaluate new international market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes to drive business growth.
2. Sales Leadership and Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the export sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market data to optimize sales strategies and improve results.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement professional development plans for the export sales team.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in international markets to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sourcing new clients and expanding existing accounts, to drive revenue growth.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, production, quality control, customer service, and marketing) to ensure seamless execution of export activities and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the coordination of logistics, including export schedules, shipment details, and compliance with international trade regulations
5. Market Representation and Brand Promotion:
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business events to promote products, build brand awareness, and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct market visits and business trips to gain insights into regional dynamics and strengthen the company’s presence in key markets.
6. Operational Oversight:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the export sales department, including sales tracking, reporting, and forecasting by region, country, and sales officer.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
7. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the export sales budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and maximizing profitability.
- Analyze financial data and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in export sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Export Sales Director, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in global markets.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a MUST
Education:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
